TOSEC

The Old School Emulation Center (TOSEC) is a retrocomputing initiative dedicated to the cataloging and preservation of software, firmware and resources for arcade machines, microcomputers, minicomputers and video game consoles. The main goal of the project is to catalog and audit various kinds of software and firmware images for these systems.

As of release 2014-10-31, TOSEC catalogs over 280 unique computing platforms and continues to grow. As of this time the project had identified and cataloged 781,347 different software images/sets, consisting of over 4.97TB of software, firmware and resources.

OpenEmu - Mac Emulator Frontend

OpenEmu is about to change the world of video game emulation. One console at a time...

For the first time, the 'It just works' philosophy now extends to open source video game emulation on the Mac. With OpenEmu, it is extremely easy to add, browse, organize and with a compatible gamepad, play those favourite games (ROMs) you already own.

Amiga Forever

All editions of Amiga Forever include everything you need to run different emulation engines, operating system versions, games and demoscene productions in simple one-click steps. The advanced RP9 Title Editor provides professional authoring features to create and edit configurations for playback on the local system or elsewhere.

The Value Edition is a compact download for Windows, and includes Workbench 1.3 and "Kickstart" ROM versions 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3, which will run the majority (more than 70%) of classic Amiga games and applications. More than 25 games are included.

The Plus Edition includes a complete set of ROM and operating system versions (all from 0.7 to 3.X), a wider selection of preinstalled games and demoscene productions, a gallery of items of historical interest, and additional cross-platform content. More than 50 games are included.

Both the Value Edition and the Plus Edition open the doors to thousands of additional Amiga games and demoscene productions which are available for free download from software publishers and Amiga history sites alike. Furthermore, the Premium Edition bundles the Plus Edition content with additional video content on 3 DVDs.

C64 Forever

C64 Forever shares the same RetroPlatform family player, database and content management components as the very successful Amiga Forever series. As such, it also embodies decades of experience and refinements and a tradition of innovation and long-term continuity and support.

Compared to other solutions for different systems, C64 Forever stands out for features which include the following:

Smooth setup: it takes only a few mouse clicks to install and run (no additional downloads required)

Intuitive, simple and refined user interface, in which player, content, database and search are seamlessly integrated (not just a "front end" that launches an external emulator)

Official emulation solution with legal CBM system ROMs
Support for the innovative RP9 format (one click to play, one file per title, no need to zip or unzip games or manage multiple disk images, etc.)

Create and edit your own titles, then run them anywhere and any time (RP9 files are self-contained, no database required)

Superior RP9 Editor blends advanced configuration options with professional content authoring features

Support and recognition of other popular disk, tape, cartridge and save state formats, with options to identify uncataloged similar variants (not a simple "checksum" approach)

Built-in RetroPlatform Library database featuring thousands of titles, with online updates

General and title-specific game controller personalization, including support for Xbox, X-Arcade and I-PAC controllers, and arbitrary keyboard layouts

Automatic, Unicode-aware mapping between host (PC) keyboard and clipboard, and guest (emulation) character set

As some projects kept adding options year after year, C64 Forever strived to keep required options to a minimum, as RetroPlatform components exclude impossible scenarios and take sophisticated decisions behind the scenes

If you know how to use Amiga Forever you are instantly familiar with C64 Forever, and vice versa

Integration with social networks for "Now Playing" updates, manual posts and screenshot uploads

Built-in search-as-you-type for installed content and custom one-click internet search for games and demoscene productions

Tested on the latest versions of Windows (both x86 and x64)
